Shelton did a reassessment of all property in 2021. As of 2/1/2022 Shelton Assessor cards now show the new assessments. Our mill rate is still 22.03 mills until a new mill rate is set in late May!!! That new mill rate will take effect July 1st. The Mayor is indicating that the mill rate will drop which will mean the taxes will be lower than what you are presently!!
