My perspective has SHIFTED on being a Mom and a businesswoman. I used to feel the need to always hire a sitter for showings and hide my “Mom life” during work hours.

I was blind to the gifts that motherhood has given me in my business. I am fierce in how I advocate for my clients BECAUSE I am a Mom and know how important it is to feel safe in your home.

I have listed several smaller spaces lately and there ARE ways to transform the look of your home without breaking the bank.

If your home feels small- or you have dark spaces- do these three budget friendly upgrades:

1) De-clutter: every home feels small when there is too much stuff inside. 🫣 I am guilty of this and have been working on it all year. Clutter WILL leave buyers with a negative impression of your home.

2) Lighter paint: dark hallways and small rooms feel instantly more spacious with a lighter paint color…and it is one of the most affordable ways to update your home. 🎨

3) Upgrade your light fixtures: if you have outdated light fixtures, swapping them out for more modern options that provide more light to your space makes a huge difference 💡

Well that’s a bummer…😜

BUT I am so happy my client avoided this very expensive problem. She wanted a house not an indoor pool.

We canceled this contract and are on to the next one. 👍

Never skip your inspection.

Also…don’t walk into puddles of water with electrical cords running through them. 🤷‍♀️ everyone is fine. 🫣
