🚴♂️🎉 El Tour de Zona Returns to Sierra Vista this Week! 🎉🚴♀️
Get ready, Sierra Vista — one of the region’s most exciting events is rolling back into town! El Tour de Zona returns April 9–12 2026, bringing nearly 500 cyclists from across the country and beyond for four days of riding, community, and celebration.
Hosted by Perimeter Bicycling, this growing event showcases everything that makes Cochise County special — from scenic mountain views to our vibrant local community.
All rides begin and end at Veterans Memorial Park in Sierra Vista, AZ, which will also host the “Zona in the Park” festival — open to the public with:
🎶 Live music
🍔 Food trucks
🍻 Beer garden
🎉 Family-friendly atmosphere
FREE admission — everyone is invited!
🚴 Ride Highlights:
• Friday (9 AM): 20-mile scenic loop to Ramsey Canyon Preserve
• Saturday (8 AM): 63-mile ride to Bisbee and back
• Sunday (9 AM): 36-mile ride to Tombstone
⚠️ Traffic Alert:
Charleston Road will be closed Sunday 4/12/2026 (8 AM – 4 PM) between Sierra Vista and Tombstone. Plan alternate routes.
El Tour de Zona supports VeloVets, helping local veterans through the physical and mental benefits of cycling. This year’s event is dedicated to the late Stu Carter, a local cycling advocate and founder of VeloVets.
