It might be warm for November, but we're still basking in the glow from the warmth of (several!) great bowls of chili! Our 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off saw a new contender take home the trophy this year! Also congrats to our 2nd and 3rd place finalists. Your dishes were Superb! Thank you to our wonderful judges from Kind At Heart Ministries, Pastors Wayne and Karen and Bro.Jesse. We're so thankful you could come out and join in the fun! Thank you SO very much to all who came out and brought desserts or chips or crackers, cheese, sour cream and onions. We couldn't have enjoyed our chili without your additions, and we wouldn't have had nearly as much fun without you joining in!

We had so much fun last night it was scary! The costumes were spectacular! The candy was abundant! The decorated trunks were amazing! Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by and showed of your Halloween Spirit. Am even bigger THANK YOU to all the residents who donated goodies, passed out candy, donated decorations, helped set up and helped clean up. We have the best residents!

We're gearing up for a spooky good time! Join us on Friday, October 31st for Trunk and Trick or treats at our Clubhouse! From 5-8 pm our residents will have treats galore to hand out to trick or treaters. Our Clubhouse is Building 11. For safety, we do request no door to door trick-or-treating, please. We can't wait to see all the costumes!

What do you do when the weather is nice? Get out and enjoy a Cookout and Car Show in your own backyard! A huge thank you to Kind At Heart Ministries for organizing such a fun event. We also want to thank Generations Bank and Simmons Foods for helping with a wonderful meal, a generous donation give away, and super kind volunteers. Thank you, also, to the owners of the amazing cars we got to see. We are so grateful for all of you for uplifting our community.

What a perfect day for a picnic! Haak Farm in conjunction with Kind At Heart Ministries and Simmons Foods Volunteers brought our community together to enjoy a beautiful day, a wonderful meal, and most importantly, time together. We are seeking a few more people to apply for a one bed one bath apartment at Sager Creek Crossing II. Apply by February 7, be approved, and move in by February 28. When you do this, you will receive your first month’s rent free!
Minimum and maximum income guidelines apply and at least one household member must be 55 years of age or older.
