Dear Paint Branch Park Condominium Residents,

Please read the following information regarding this upcoming holiday’s trash and recycling collection.

Memorial Day – Monday, May 25, 2026
Trash collection will be on Wednesday and Saturday as normally scheduled.
Recycling and yard waste collection will be pushed back one day and collected on Thursday, 5/28.

Please note that trash and recycling may not be placed outside before 7:00 p.m. the evening before collection day. Also, please remember to retrieve your trash/recycling bins after collection has taken place.

Dear Paint Branch Park Residents,

We are pleased to share that bulk trash dumpsters will be delivered to the community on April 24th. The dumpsters will remain on-site throughout the weekend for resident use. Dumpster locations are shown on the attached map.

Please take this opportunity to place all your bulk trash INSIDE the dumpsters. Items left on the ground or beside the containers cannot be collected and may result in additional disposal costs for the Association.

Dear Paint Branch Park Condominium Residents,

To help keep our community clean and free of pests, please follow the guidelines below for proper household trash disposal:
Use secure containers: Trash should be placed in trashcans with secure lids or in sturdy, heavy-duty trash bags. This helps prevent raccoons, birds, and other wildlife from tearing into the bags and attracting rodents.

Set-out times: Trashcans may be placed out for collection no earlier than the evening before pickup and no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of collection (Wednesdays and Saturdays).

After collection: Trashcans must be retrieved from the curb on the same day as pickup and stored out of public view.

Storage requirement: Trashcans and recycling bins must not be visible from the street on non-collection days.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep Paint Branch Park clean, safe, and enjoyable for all residents.

Dear Residents,

We want to make you aware of an important update from WSSC Water, which serves Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. Due to the recent extreme cold, WSSC Water has issued an “Essential Water Use Only” request for all 1.9 million customers in both counties. This request follows a surge in water main breaks and leaks—at least 33 confirmed so far—with more expected, and unusually high system demand. Crews are also experiencing difficulty locating breaks because of snow and ice.

What “Essential Use Only” Means

Residents are asked to limit water usage to only what is necessary. Please follow these guidelines:

Take shorter showers and turn off faucets promptly.
Limit flushing toilets (do not flush after every use).
Avoid using washing machines and dishwashers unless absolutely necessary.
Keep a faucet dripping at a trickle to help prevent pipes from freezing—this uses very little water but protects against costly burst pipes.

Why This Request Was Issued

WSSC Water reports the following conditions:
Extreme cold has caused widespread water main breaks.
Water demand has risen far beyond normal winter levels.
Crews are having difficulty locating breaks hidden under snow and ice.
Conserving water now helps avoid a potential Boil Water Advisory and preserves supply for fire protection and system stability while repairs continue. At this time, WSSC Water has confirmed that the water remains safe to use and no boil advisory is in effect.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as the county works to stabilize the system during these extreme conditions.

This message is to advise residents of an upcoming snowstorm expected this weekend. Weather forecasts indicate heavy snowfall and icy conditions.

Please take the following precautions:
-Use caution on sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas
-Bring trash bins, outdoor furniture, and loose items indoors
-Be mindful of community snow removal efforts and posted parking restrictions

The HOA will coordinate snow removal for common areas and roadways as conditions allow. Residents are responsible for clearing snow from private driveways, walkways, and entrances, in accordance with HOA guidelines. Per Montgomery County, residents must clear snow and ice from sidewalks, shared paths, and adjacent areas within 24 hours after precipitation stops.

Incorrectly/Illegally Parked Cars (Towed without Warning)

A vehicle impeding ready access to an adjacent parking area is considered “incorrectly parked” and will be towed without warning. Including but not limited to, this definition is a vehicle:
-double parked or parked using more than one space
-parked in a fire lane or at a yellow curb
-parked on a sidewalk or any grassy area
-parked in a designated “No Parking” area
-parked obstructing traffic flow
-parked (without permit) in a specifically designated area
