Leisure World's Golf Club was well represented in the 2026 Maryland Senior Olympics golf tournament. All three participants won medals as follows:

Mark Parker (left photo): golf medal in 70-74 age division
Luis Alomar (right photo): bronze medal in 75-79 age division
Semoon Chang: silver medal in 85-89 age division

Echoes of Nature presented “An Adventure with Nature," featuring live raptors native to Maryland, including an American Kestrel and a Red Tail Hawk, on Sept. 8.

The demonstration took place on the Lanai followed by a lecture by Louis Pailey and Helen Weinheimer in the Maryland Room. The event was sponsored by the Purple Martin and Bird Club (PMBC), Rotary Club, Rossmoor Camera Club, and Residents’ Network.
