❄️ **Snow Storm Elsa is on the way** ❄️
It’s looking like this storm is going to throw everything it has at us. Our daughter has already been asking if Queen Elsa from *Frozen* will be stopping by our house… so clearly the storm has her attention too. 😂
First, we want to echo what the highway department is asking: **please stay put if you can and give crews time to clear the roads.** Staying off the roads during heavy snowfall and high winds helps keep everyone safe and allows road crews and plow drivers to do their jobs more efficiently.
Second, please know that **we will be out working as safely and efficiently as possible to keep up with the storm and get your properties cleared.** We are planning to make **multiple passes throughout the storm** to help keep snow manageable for both our crews and our equipment, and to ensure we can access properties more easily should an emergency arise.
That said, **the safety of our crews and equipment is always our top priority.** If at any point conditions become unsafe due to visibility, wind, road conditions, or fatigue, our crews may need to pause operations. If that happens, we will get back out there and resume work as soon as it’s safe to do so.
For our customers, if you’re able, **parking in your garage is extremely helpful** so we have clear access to push snow from the driveway. We also ask for your patience as we work through our routes. Our goal is to make at least one pass through our primary list tomorrow, but depending on how the storm develops it may be Monday before we reach some properties. Please know that if that happens, it’s not for lack of effort—this storm is shaping up to be quite the doozy.
If you happen to see a plow driver this weekend, please consider giving them a quick thank you—whether they work for the county, town, village, or a local business. These crews will be working long hours through difficult conditions to keep roads and properties accessible.
We’d also like to take a moment to thank our county, town, and village road crews for the work they do to keep our roads open, and the other small businesses out there pushing snow alongside us and helping each other when needed.
Most importantly, thank you to our incredible crew and the team we partnered with this year. Many of them are spending several days away from their families to stay close to town and be ready to go at any time. The long hours, tough conditions, and dedication they bring to the job are what make this business possible, and we’re incredibly grateful for every one of them.
Lastly, for our customers on our primary or secondary plowing lists, if you are currently away and won’t be returning until this is all over please let us know by emailing **[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])** or texting **920-421-2477**. We want to prioritize the people who are actively here getting cleaned up first, and then moving onto the places currently vacant next.
Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and kindness toward everyone working in the snow removal business this weekend. Stay safe, stay warm, and we’ll see you soon. ❄️
