** I just want to take a moment to thank all of the residents of Eagle Lake for their patience over the water outage this weekend. Being without water can be very frustrating and for the most part everyone was very kind and understanding, and I know that isn’t always easy, knowing we have had more than our fair share of water issues over the years considering the age of the system.
But….. on a positive note:
we now have a new tank, a new pump, (and are getting an even better pump coming this week) , we also have a back up generator for the well when we lose power -so essentially everything is new now!!! Yay!! it’s been a long time coming ya’ll but we finally have it !!
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the patience and kind words of support from the residents here during difficult times- and I also want to thank our maintenance man Tim— he hardly left this place over the weekend - and works very hard behind the scenes to keep the water on, repair leaks, keep the sewer system and lift station going etc - and he doesn’t get the credit he deserves for that because it really is a big deal - and he never fails to show up when I need him for something regarding Eagle Lake. You may not see either of us during a regular 9 to 5 but we always try to be available - and Tim spends a lot of hours in the park doing things most people do not notice- even if it isn’t between the traditional 9 to 5 hours because frankly that is not when things typically happen in the park. So I appreciate all of you and I appreciate Tim for all he does in the park.

PETS NEED TO BE ON A LEASH WHEN OUTSIDE-****We love our fur babies- however there are park rules & regulations to be followed as well as size and breed restrictions. If you are still unsure about our pet policies please contact the park manager. **All pets when outside should be on a leash.

PARENTS PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN PLAY IN THE STREETS!
The Safety of your children is of utmost important and we continue to see children playing in the streets often with our adult supervision. Children under the age of 12 should not be allowed to roam the park - and all children need adult supervision.

🦆 Update -
Several weeks ago, wildlife and fisheries were called out to investigate some dead ducks found on the property;
It has been determined by the biology lab that the ducks had ingested blue green, algae  which caused their deaths. As a precaution, we are asking everyone to keep their pets away from the pond and to refrain from eating fish out of the pond. Please avoid the pond altogether if you notice blue green algae blooms. The algae this week does not seem to be as prevalent as in previous weeks however we would rather take caution. ⚠️

Good morning -
I am so happy to report that Eagle Lake Residents now have a brand new Water Holding Tank w/ a new Air Compressor!!! We also have the back up generator installed and working- which will provide water to residents during power outages!!! The new tank and compressor will make a tremendous difference in the water pressure.
** The Sewer Treatment System just underwent a huge upgrade and is working excellently. These 3 things were huge undertakings and quite costly but things are finally happening Ya’ll !Yes… it’s a process, and it is going to take some time to get it all done; but it is in the works with more improvements to come soon! The BWA has also been lifted so Residents may resume normal usage of the water!

Alert! Eagle Lake Residents! Wild Life and Fisheries are investigating the recent Duck kill in Eagle Lake MHP - please keep your animals away from the lake- and do not eat fish from the lake at this time. ** Right now it is thought to be blue green algae related but it is only a guess! If you are aware of anyone possibly putting something out to kill the ducks please let us know(however we do not believe at this time that this was intentional in anyway) We love our wildlife here and hope this is an isolated incident and that we do not see anymore of the wildlife die.

Low Water Pressure - and Outages From Freezing Temperatures-
Over the last few days, the water pressure has dropped to 10psi due the need to run water overnight at all 178 homes; The severe low pressure created the need to turn the water off for a few hours each day to regain some pressure to the community. The demand on the pump with everyone using water at the same time is extreme in temperatures like these. Park maintenance has been working diligently to restore water as quickly as possible and allow residence to have ample water pressure in the evenings, only to repeat the process each day until we are out of these freezing temperatures. At one point the pump line also froze on our system; every effort is being made to minimize the effects the best way we can for now. We appreciate the patience of all of the Residents at this time and hope to resume normal operations soon. The pump is very old, they do not make them anymore, so it will need to be replaced in its entirety (which is not a small task) this requires a great deal of planning and preparation; options are actively being looked into. I understand the frustration of not having adequate water pressure…measures have been taken to make sure residents still have water in the event of a power outage, however our system just wasn’t adequately prepared for the freezing temperatures for a prolonged period. We are really trying to get it worked out. The property is old and many of the inner workings have needed costly repairs and replacements, all are being addressed and put in the budget.
