The desert has always shaped mid-century architecture in Palm Springs. Its wide skies and rugged mountains called for bold rooflines, deep overhangs, and materials that could stand against the heat while blending with the landscape. Charles Du Bois understood this balance.

His homes paired stone and glass to create designs that felt both dramatic and inviting, rooted in their setting. The Granito Circle house, recently updated by interior designer , is a clear example.
