I didn’t get to do as much as I wanted (I have a lot of favorite places), but stopping at The What Not Inn, to get the best ever Coconut Cake was a must! (At some point, I read that it was “world famous” so stopped in, and it is sooooo good!!)

It's Spring again!! Just like that!!! Once again, thank you everyone who helped us survive this CoVid19 Year - our guests, and all those who keep the cottage running throughout the year, while following CoVid19 sanitizing protocols!! We appreciate you all so much!

SPRING IS HERE! SUMMER IS COMING!
Winter felt long, and now you need a nice, relaxing, fun-in-the-sun vacation with family and friends! Or maybe you need some quiet time to catch up on your reading or your writing. Or you just need to get out of the city, the hustle-and-bustle, and breathe the fresh air!

It's time! Time to get out into the countryside! And not just any countryside will do!

Come stay at our very charming cottage on beautiful Lake Michigan, conveniently located just a 45 minute drive from the Grand Rapids Int'l Airport and 2 1/2 hours from Chicago.

Just a short walk to the white sand beach through a top-rated park, you can enjoy your morning coffee, listening to the lapping of calm Lake Michigan, or watch the gorgeous sunset in the evening.

Not only does the park offer over 600 feet of sandy beach, but it also includes a baseball diamond, picnic tables, 2 modern restroom buildings, and a playground.

Or, enjoy drinking a glass of wine (or whatever is your preference) on the deck, in the privacy of your own miniature park, back at the cottage, while listening to the cicadas and watching the fireflies. Or visit with your friends, late into the night, watching the stars, around the firepit, roasting marshmallows...

Our lovely 2 bdrm 1 bathroom cottage sleeps up to 6 people, includes a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, a barbeque, washer and dryer, free long-distance calling and wifi, for your convenience.

If you decide to venture out, you will love the wineries, chocolaterias, steamboat tours, restaurants, pubs, art galleries, museums, parks, festivals in the nearby towns of Douglas, Saugatuck and South Haven, or go hiking up Mt. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who made this a successful and fun season, despite the craziness!!

We are very grateful for all of our behind-the-scenes people for adjusting to the CoVid19 protocols for cleaning and sanitizing, and for our guests, for their patience and understanding during the adjustment period.

Also, we are very grateful that we HAVE guests and were able to open up the cottage for vacationers this year at all.

Thank you very much, to everyone!

We will continue the keep the Cottage open through the Autumn and Winter months, as well, for any who want to come enjoy it's cozy comfort.
