Glad to be indoors today. Did frost form on your windows, too? ❄️🪟 I would expect this on older, uninsulated windows (that just need to be replaced to nip this and all the other issues in the bud), but these are brand new windows. It could be because it’s too humid inside or that I need to create better airflow/ventilation throughout the house (incl keeping the blinds up a bit more often). Still, this house is only 2 years old and the windows are a reputable brand. So what gives? Unfortunately, I’m going with the windows were definitely not installed properly for a New England home AND the contractor clearly used the cheap builder grade, pre-made windows by that brand. New or old, if yours look like mine, grab absorbent towels and DRY DRY DRY all the melted ice and frost on the windows’ glass, frames (esp in the corners and under both sashes), and the wood stool/sill to prevent water from pooling up and dripping down anywhere around the windows. Luckily, I’m not seeing any chipped paint, wood rot or mildew/mold growth, but I also know it doesn’t take long for something to go from bad to worse. Sigh. Anyone else want to add to this post with helpful advice or tips, please do!

Turns back around today to grab warm coat & hat! The past few days, we’ve had such warmer than usual temps. Even with some crazy rain, it’s felt nice. At one point, I remembered I never gave my Air Conditioner guy a call back after the last time he was over or we last spoke. Or was he supposed to call me back? Can’t believe that was back in August! Great guy, super knowledgeable, tried to explain things to me, but I understand he is super busy and I know the challenges contractors face (my dad, family members). But I started thinking about how I wish someone would actually sit down with me, like a physician, and show/tell me a diagnosis of my AC unit, and then write me a prescription for an affordable, no risk, forever fix. For real though. Right? Anyone know an AC company like this??? (I know we don’t need it for awhile, but I also know it’s moisture-relate)

Thank you for the feature The Magazine LifeStyle. It’s been a wild ride since starting my TV journey 10 years ago (thanks to The Rhode Show!!). It was really nice to spend some time looking back at all the experiences, and remembering that evolving as a career woman is just as exciting as it is super nerve-racking 🙂. Midsummer night treat! Love the coffee Heath yogurt & rum raisin (with a just-made waffle cone on the side 😋). Walked over after dinner at the cabin restaurant (Cozy cabin? Anyway, awesome rosemary swordfish!). Anyone else remember dining there in the 80s/90s? My mom says, it still has that fresh, woodsy smell. Nostalgic element is cool, it’s good for families, and right next to baby!)
