A little Monday moment 💙

I had the opportunity to sit down with VoyageDallas and share a little bit about my story, my journey into real estate, and what I’ve been building along the way.

Sometimes you’re so busy working, figuring things out, helping clients, planning the next thing… that you don’t really stop and look at how far you’ve come.

So this was a nice little reminder to do just that. 🥹

I remember talking to buyers last year when rates were around 6%… and some said, “That’s too high. I’m going to wait until rates come down.”

Well… 😭

We told y’all: WE CANNOT PREDICT THE RATES.

And now we’re sitting around 7%.

But here’s the part I really want you to hear: if buying a home is still one of your goals, stop focusing ONLY on the headline interest rate and start looking at the opportunities available in THIS market.

New construction? 👀
Builders are slashing prices and some are offering incentives with rates like 4.99% , even 3.99% on certain homes/programs.

Resale? There’s room to NEGOTIATE.

We can potentially negotiate seller concessions to help cover closing costs AND use some of those concessions toward buying down your interest rate including exploring a permanent rate buydown.

The point is: there are strategies.

Waiting for the “perfect” market or the “perfect” interest rate can have you sitting on the sidelines for another year while the market keeps moving.
