This weekend I celebrated 6 months of sobriety from alcohol. That very day my son hit a homer in baseball and my daughter went to homecoming with her boyfriend. Since taking my last drink on April 11th:
I was baptized with my daughter on Easter. Started a health journey and lost 25 pounds. Sold a house for a long lost friend & coworker.
Met the new love of my life in Ashley.

To say that God is good is a massive understatement. He is simply amazing and I am incredibly grateful to have Him in my life. 6 months is a good start, but the work is never over. Thank you to EVERYONE that has helped me and for sticking with me through good times and bad. My future has never been brighter because my faith has never been stronger. Anyone that is battling addiction or knows someone who is, don’t give up. Your story isn’t over. You don’t have to do this alone. Seek others to help you, and let Jesus into your life. You won’t regret it. Live with love & compassion for others. God bless 🙏❤️

September 11, 2025 comes with a heavy weight in the air. We will never forget what happened on this day 24 years ago. This year we also have the weight of Charlie Kirk's assassination. I pray for everyone affected by both of these evil events, and I also pray for our country and the world. Here are my thoughts and God bless. May you rest in peace Charlie.
