Stay safe out there friends!! ❄️☃️

URGENT: Williamson County remains under a Winter Storm Warning, and deteriorating travel conditions are expected through tomorrow afternoon. Crews will not be able to begin clearing school parking lots and campuses until the sleet, freezing rain or snowfall ends. No one should be on a school campus until it has been cleared.

So, there will be no school in Williamson County Schools on Monday, January 26 or Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

The School Age Child Care program will also be closed on both days.

Twelve-month employees should follow the snow day protocol. Those who can work remotely, may do so, with the approval of their supervisor.

We have 10 snow days built into the school calendar, and this will use two of them.

Again, no school in Williamson County on Monday, January 26 or Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The School Age Child Care program will also be closed.

BIG NEWS: A record-breaking 35 Williamson County schools have just been named Reward Schools for the 2024-25 school year. The Tennessee Department of Education made the announcement November 21.

Reward Schools are recognized as some of the highest performing schools in the state.

"This is a remarkable achievement," said Superintendent Jason Golden. "A lot of hard work goes into earning these designations, and I am grateful for all of the students, families, teachers and staff who helped make this possible."

When selecting Reward Schools, achievement, growth, chronic absenteeism rates, English language proficiency, graduation rates and Ready Graduate rates are all taken into account.

Congratulations to the district's 2024-25 Reward Schools:
