When you work with me, your real estate specialist, to buy and/or sell a house, you can save 0.7% of the home purchase price, or $700 on every $100,000 of the purchase price.

After closing on your home, Homes for Heroes will send you a check so you can purchase any must-haves for your new space! Most “fire-related injuries” are burns. In fact, approximately every 60 seconds someone in the U.S. sustains a burn injury serious enough to require treatment. Source: American Burn Association. (2016). However, not all burns are fire-related. In effort to bring awareness to the more than 400,000 people annually who are treated medically for burns, we present 4 tips to help keep you and your family safe from preventable burn-related injuries:

When prepping a bathtub for a child, test the water temperature with your hand to ensure it is safe and there are no hot spots.

Never hold a child or a pet while carrying hot liquids.

Establish a kid-free zone three feet from any fireplace, stove, or area where hot food is prepared.

Ensure your travel mugs and canteens have tight seals for next use.

The “plunge” is mostly happening out West where many folks can’t sell their homes fast enough to migrate to other states. Here in the Saint Louis Area we are not seeing a plunge, but more of a plateau. That’s good news for buyers, but continuous rising rates could likely offset this plateau. If you’re not sure if now is the time for you to buy (or sell), then we can talk about your unique situation. It’s an ever changing market and you shouldn’t always trust/believe that what’s happening outside your market is true for you.
