🐾Puppies + Pizza 🍕

I had the best time last night at Felix’s Pizza Pub in Dogtown!

Needy Paws Young Professionals Board hosted an amazing event benefiting the organization that is so near and dear to us - Needy Paws Rescue!

Lots of money was raised, lots of pizza was eaten, lots of fun was had!

We know that Mehlville Fire Department spends their time helping people - but recently, they also helped the puppies at Needy Paws 🐾 too! The crew donated several bags of stuffed animals to keep the puppies company while they wait to find their forever homes!

Meet Gremmy!

Gremmy is a 26-pound sweetheart who came to Needy Paws from southern Missouri, and he’s ready to find a forever family to call his own!

This little guy is full of personality and love. Gremmy is extremely friendly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids. He was born with rounded discs, which makes him walk a bit differently and drag his back legs, but don’t let that fool you — he gets around just fine and never lets it slow him down! He’s not able to go up and down steps but can handle 1 or 2.:)

Because of his rounded discs, Gremmy will need to stay on a joint and omega-3 supplement, and it’s important that he maintains a healthy weight throughout his life to keep him feeling his best.

Gremmy has recently been diagnosed with IBS (Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome) and some food allergies. This can be treated by feeding him a specific dog food and providing him with a low stress environment.

Gremmy wasn’t potty trained, and because of his issues with his legs, he will need to be kept on a strict house-training schedule. He tries his best but his owners will need to understand his disability.

Gremmy will require a doggie friend, to give him confidence, he does ok at home for an hour or two with another dog, without a companion he will have accidents and cry and bark when alone. So Gremmy needs a family that is home the majority of the time, and another friendly dog. These are absolutely requirements for his new home

Gremmy’s favorite things are playing with toys, chew on bones and play with doggie Friends. Then laying down for a long nap while snoring! He loves his people so much, and is the happiest boy. Any owners who will be patient with him will reep the benefits of his kisses and love.

Cadillac Coop Deville: Meet this spirited little guy—a 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a heart full of love and energy to spare! Don’t let his age fool you—he still has plenty of pep in his step and enjoys staying active, whether it’s exploring the yard, going for short walks, or just being near his people.

Cadillac spent some of his life as a breeder then retired. His world got flipped upside down when his owner died and he made his journey to St.Louis

Despite his past, he is incredibly sweet, gentle, and eager to bond. He thrives on affection and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give.
