Yes - I worked as an Inpatient Behavioral Intake Coordinator and Crisis Telephone Worker prior to getting my Real Estate License! We all find that our prior skills come in handy working as a REALTOR®. My colleagues are all such talented people who each bring something different to the table.

I attended my first "REALTOR and Government Day" in Madison on Tuesday, and learned just how important it is for agents to stay informed and advocate for property owners across Wisconsin.

We learned all about legislation that is currently affecting housing affordability and accessibility and had the opportunity to sit in on a meeting with legislatures who represent Central Wisconsin.

I was one of more than 500 participants! Being present shows unity and strength as an industry. When legislators see a strong REALTOR® turnout, the profession’s concerns and recommendations carry more weight in policy debates.
