What is your WHY... Have you lost sight of it? Or has it changed?
I came across this broken "Y" on the beach, and it made me think about how easy it is to lose sight of our “why” when we're pursuing something challenging.
This first year in real estate has stretched me in ways I never expected. There are endless opportunities, strategies, marketing ideas, business goals, and distractions that can make it feel like you need to do everything at once. But the more I grow, the more I realize that not everything needs to happen today.
My why is not a perfect marketing strategy or chasing the next transaction.
My why is becoming a more active member of my community.
My why is building a career that I can be proud of.
My why is helping people navigate some of life's biggest decisions and being there for them through the stress, uncertainty, excitement, and hope that come with those moments.
More than anything, I'm grateful—for the clients who have trusted me, the people who have encouraged me, and even the challenges that have pushed me to grow. Every experience has taught me something and helped shape the person and professional I'm becoming.
A tree can continue to grow even after a branch breaks, but only if its roots remain strong. The same is true for us. When our "Y" feels broken, when challenges make us question our path, that's often the moment we need to reconnect with the reason we started in the first place.
When your why is clear, the path forward becomes clearer, too. Stayed rooted in your why, my friends.
