If I could do one thing differently in business, I’d niche down sooner.

Trying to do a little bit of everything can slow your growth. The more focused you become on one market, one skill, one asset class, or one type of client, the faster you can build real expertise.

That focus also helps you build the right community and work with people who fit where you’re going.

There will always be distractions and new opportunities that look interesting. That’s part of business.

But sometimes the best move is to stay focused, cut the noise, and put more effort into the thing you’ve already decided to build.

Before I make a big decision in real estate or business, I ask myself two questions: Am I reacting, or am I responding? And what am I really doing this for?

Those questions help separate fear from facts.

When pressure takes over, it’s easy to jump to the worst-case scenario. But when you slow down and respond with intention, you can look at the real options in front of you.

That shift has helped me make clearer, more confident decisions.

The goal isn’t to remove emotion. It’s to make sure emotion isn’t making the decision for you.
