This open-air biergarten sits right across from the historic Mast Farm Inn, and it’s basically a dream if you’re traveling with kids (or a leashed pup 🐾). Grab a cold b**r or glass of w**e while the little ones say hi to the horses, goats, and mini goats roaming the yard — plus Howie the donkey, who’s basically the mayor of the place.

Open seasonally (May–Oct). It’s the perfect stop on your way to or from Sugar Mountain/Banner Elk.🏔️

Downtown Blowing Rock is small enough to cover in an easy afternoon loop, but packed with more than a century of stories — Gilded Age hotels, mountain entrepreneurs, artists, and the quiet mountain village that grew into one of the Southeast’s favorite escapes.
