STRESS TEST!!

PCS moves are stressful enough… now imagine buying your FIRST home from 7,000+ miles away while a typhoon is headed your direction. 🌪️🏡
One of the greatest parts of being a retired Air Force Realtor is helping active duty members and veterans navigate some of the most complicated transitions of their lives.
Recently, a 22-year-old Sailor found me online while preparing to PCS from Guam. Honestly, I wish I had been that smart and prepared in my early 20s! Instead of waiting, she decided to start building wealth through real estate right away.
After narrowing down the perfect home, we went under contract completely sight unseen — aside from several detailed virtual tours to make sure she felt confident every step of the way.

Then came the unexpected…

Right as negotiations wrapped up and due diligence began, she informed me a typhoon was about to hit Guam and communication could be down for weeks.

Not exactly ideal timing.

Because military moves rarely go according to plan, being proactive matters. We immediately adjusted strategy, negotiated contract protections, and extended due diligence timelines to make sure she was fully protected while weathering the storm …literally.

Today, we officially CLOSED on her very first home! 🔑🇺🇸
Helping service members and veterans navigate long-distance moves, tight timelines, uncertainty, deployments, and PCS challenges is more than real estate for me, it’s personal. I’ve lived it.
