🏡 Why I Chose Real Estate

A few people have asked me lately: "Fouzia, after all these years in education, why real estate now?"

When I sit with that question, the answer is so clear to me. It has never been about changing my direction. It’s about continuing the exact same heart-work I’ve always done.

For 13 years at Al Falah Academy and now at PCOM, my heart’s joy has been helping people walk through some of life's biggest, most meaningful moments. Whether holding a nervous parent's hand on their child's first day of school, celebrating a graduation, or encouraging a future doctor pursuing their dream... I’ve learned that life is all about the people you serve.

Real estate is no different.

A house isn't just wood, bricks, and numbers on a paper. It's where your children grow up, where family meals are shared, where memories are made, and where you seek peace after a long day.

More than anything, I want to be the person who helps families land their dream home.

💫 A New Chapter, Rooted in the Same Purpose 💫

As I begin this new chapter in my life, I’ve been reflecting on the journey that brought me here.

In 2010, I was blessed to join Al Falah Academy when it first opened its doors. For the next 13 years, I had the privilege of serving as Director of Admissions, Marketing, and Fundraising—helping build what has grown into one of Georgia's largest Islamic schools, serving Pre-K through 12th-grade students.

Those years were never just about admissions, marketing, or fundraising—they were about people. I had the privilege of welcoming hundreds of families, celebrating our students' achievements, and watching young children grow into confident graduates. Moments like our success at MIST Georgia 2019 reminded me that investing in people creates a lasting impact.

Today, I continue that commitment to service as the Associate Director at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), supporting future healthcare professionals as they pursue their dreams. 🎓

Although my profession has evolved, my purpose has never changed.
