Making more homes available to all buyers is a good thing!

Washington state could soon ban "pocket listings," homes marketed privately to a select group of buyers rather than listed publicly, after the state Legislature passed a bill requiring all properties to be marketed openly. Gov. Bob Ferguson now has the bill on his desk. Brokers who violate the rule could face fines of up to $500 per violation or lose their license. "This is fundamentally about fair housing," said state Sen. Marko Liias, who introduced the measure.
