When a buyer walks into a house, they’re usually reading the back cover and the first couple of pages.

They’re picturing where the couch will go.
Imagining coffee in the kitchen.
Seeing holidays in the living room.
Wondering if this could be the place their next season begins.

And I love that part.

But while they’re dreaming, I’m reading the fine print.

I’m looking for signs of water damage around the windows.
Checking if the doors lock the way they should.
Noticing whether the floor by the bathtub feels soft.
Watching for the details that could become expensive plot twists later.

Because buying a home isn’t just about falling in love with the story. It’s about understanding what’s written between the lines.

My job is to help you see the full picture — the charm, the potential, and the things you may not know to look for yet.

So yes, imagine your life there. I’ll be right beside you, making sure the details support the dream.

This tiny 120 sq ft kitchen has been sitting untouched in a house vacant for OVER a decade… and now it’s time to bring it back to life. 👀

The question is… what direction would YOU go?

✨ Cozy country farmhouse?
✨ Sleek + modern?
✨ Bright whites to make the space feel bigger?
✨ Or restore some of the original 1950s character?

Honestly, I can see the vision for all of them 😅

Drop your vote below because this little kitchen could end up being the star of the whole house.

One of the biggest mistakes people make before hiring a Realtor®?

Assuming every agent advocate the same way. 📣

I recently worked with a client who had bought a house before, but their previous agent barely advocated for them. No negotiating price. No pushing for closing costs. Sellers refused repairs? “Oh well.” Lender delays? “Ah, just wait it out.”

✋ That’s not how I do business.

My clients’ goals, needs, and motivation stay front and center from start to finish. A Realtor® should educate you, protect you, negotiate for you, and know when to push back. 💪

Here are 3 mistakes to avoid before hiring a Realtor®:

1️⃣ Hiring based on familiarity or years in the industry
2️⃣ Assuming all agents negotiate and advocate the same
3️⃣ Not making sure your agent stays educated, informed, and up to date on today’s market

Some of you may not know this… but I took my first real estate class in the fall of 2007. Yes… 2007!!

We had a newborn. We were broke. Like counting change and praying nothing else breaks broke. I couldn’t even afford the class, so I traded cleaning the building where it was being taught just so I could attend “for free.”

And even then… it wasn’t the right time. I walked away from it, and honestly? That ended up being the right call because we all saw what happened to the real estate market in 2008. But then in early 2020, I tried again. Took the class. Never finished it.

For years, I talked myself out of becoming a Realtor® because there were already SO many agents. I convinced myself I wasn’t outgoing enough. Popular enough. Confident enough to “win” in an industry that can sometimes feel like one big popularity contest.

But when I turned 35, something shifted. I realized even if I failed… I had to at least TRY. I had to let the risk play out.

So I did.

And now here I am — full-time since May 2023. Never had to pick up a part-time job. Never quit. I bet on myself before I had proof it would work. And it’s been wildly rewarding. I’ve helped people from all walks of life. I’ve learned more than I ever could’ve imagined simply by staying open minded to where the road could lead, the lessons, and the people along the way.

The truth is… you have no idea how much your life can change in a year when you stop quitting on yourself. The version of you one year from now might be begging you to keep going today. And trust me when I say, there are people rooting for you that you aren't even aware of!!

So this is your reminder: Don’t quit too early. Some dreams take years to become reality.

What’s something you’re refusing to quit on?
