Earlier this month, our Rowan team spent time volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Temple, TX, helping support families staying close to their loved ones during treatment.

In addition to the formal public process, we hosted a community open house in March, and also host a regular neighbor dinner for those living near our projects to connect with the construction team.

We work directly with the utility to make sure capacity is accounted for before any project moves forward.

Rowan funds the required infrastructure, not taxpayers, and the utility has confirmed these projects do not impact existing service reliability.

We are making a long-term investment in Temple.

More than $2.1 billion dollars is being invested across these projects. That supports over 1,500 construction jobs and generates about $20 million dollars each year in property tax revenue.

That funding supports schools, police, fire, and infrastructure across the community.

These are not short-term projects. They are designed to be part of Temple for generations.

Rowan's projects here in Temple have followed the same public process as other major developments in the city — and then some. In March, we also hosted a community open house where nearly 100 residents connected with our subject matter experts on everything from water use to site plans to job opportunities.

Our data centers are located on land designated for industrial use and have gone through multiple public hearings and formal review with city leadership.

There are no non-disclosure agreements in place. The process is public and structured.

This reflects how Temple plans for growth, and we are part of that process alongside the community.

Living near Rowan data centers should not feel different from your normal routine.

Our sites are designed to fit into the area with minimal impact. Visibility is buffered with trees and setbacks; noise is controlled, lighting stays contained, and traffic remains low once operations begin.

And during construction, our team provides regular opportunities to connect with our closest neighbors and ensure we're taking their feedback and answering their questions.

Water is one of the biggest questions we hear across the state, especially during a Central Texas summer.

Each Rowan facility is filled once with about two million gallons of water, and that water stays inside a closed system and is reused for years. It is not continuously pulled from the city.

Daily use is about four thousand gallons, comparable to a standard office building in or around Temple.

For perspective, the City of Temple uses roughly fifteen to twenty million gallons of water every day.

These systems are designed to perform in Texas heat without requiring additional water input.
