🏡 Villages Home Buyers: Know Your Rights

There is a common misconception that you must use a Villages Sales Representative to purchase a Villages-listed home. That is simply not true.

Under Florida law, buyers are free to choose their own real estate representation. A licensed Florida Realtor® can write and submit an offer on a Villages-listed property, and listing agents have a legal duty to present offers in a timely manner unless otherwise directed in writing.

While some buyers may choose to work with both a Villages Sales Rep and an independent Realtor®, it is not a legal requirement.

Always verify information for yourself and understand your options before making one of the biggest purchases of your life.
