We had an Amazing day! Heck of a Father’s Day trip and learning trip for me and Balin and hi buddy Kole Knighton HUGE SHOUTOUT TO Sam for taking us out today after the rain and teaching these boys some new tricks to Bass fishing! If anyone wants to go fishing be sure to give Sam a call.

We stayed at a beach house with family for the weekend and while I was impressed the home had a whole home dehumidifier it also had some quality issues. The stairs were just one of the things. Over cutting stairs stringers weakens them significantly and to be in such a harsh environment makes it even worse.

So I’ve never seen this in our Houston climate zone. Anyone have any thoughts as to why we have poly on both side of the walls under the drywall on interior walls?
Try to ignore the beautiful concrete stamped floors. 😆🙏

Getting the roof decked at our passive house 1.5 Houston. Thanks to for the new product release! Just in time to use on our passive house with the vented attic assembly we have here.

Almost there with the roof for our check out the air sealing detail we have to have continuity from the outside zip to the inside zip on the ceiling. Stay tuned for more on the interior detail once we get a roof on this awesome house.
