We have several pieces of Kay's beautiful artwork gracing the walls of our cottage. Her work captures the essence of the Metcalfe area perfectly. Stop by and see her exhibit at the Jefferson Arts Gallery in nearby Monticello, FL.

Jefferson Arts Gallery invites you to the opening of "A Retrospective of Rural Life," an exhibit of paintings by Metcalfe artist Kay Cromartie. Her work is inspired by the Metcalfe-area way of life, and many of her paintings feature scenes of pine forests, field trials, quail hunting, horses, dogs, farming, and family. The opening is Saturday, September 6, 2025, from noon to 4 PM. Stop by to meet the artist and enjoy some refreshments while you peruse the gallery. Admission is free. The exhibit will continue through September 27. Regular gallery hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 AM - 4 PM. The Jefferson Arts Gallery is located at 575 West Washington St, Monticello, FL.
