Not every home is ready for the traditional market—and that’s where having the right strategy and connections can make all the difference.

After more than 40 years in her home, my seller was ready to move closer to her daughter and begin a new chapter in a senior living community. Because the property needed more work than most traditional buyers were prepared to take on, I reached out to my network of trusted investors. The result was seven strong offers!

My seller selected not only the highest-priced offer, but also a buyer who was willing to give her the extra time she needed to thoughtfully clear out the home.

After four decades, there were understandably many belongings to sort through. She was determined to send as little as possible to the landfill—something I truly admired. Labor Day is more than the unofficial end of summer. It’s a day to recognize the American workers whose dedication, perseverance, and contributions have helped build and strengthen our country.

The holiday traces its roots to the labor movement of the late 1800s, when workers advocated for safer conditions, fair wages, and reasonable working hours. While important progress has been made, not every American worker is afforded those protections. There is still meaningful work to be done to ensure that all workers are treated safely, fairly, and with dignity.

Today also reminds me how fortunate I am to have found a career I truly love. Helping people navigate such an important chapter in their lives is both a privilege and a responsibility I never take for granted. I’m thankful for every client who has trusted me, every colleague who has supported me, and every experience that has helped me grow.

Wishing everyone a safe, restful, and meaningful Labor Day. 🇺🇸
