Congrats to my first time buyer clients on the closing of their home. We utilized a great solar program that installs an owned (not leased) solar system on the home and provides buyers their downpayment - the price of the solar system is rolled into the mortgage so as to provide one streamlined payment. I negotiated the seller to pay all of the buyers’ up-front closing costs and they ended up getting money back at closing! So excited for them to build a wonderful life in this great neighborhood.

Interesting article. I've been doing this for the past 5 years! Few realtors in the Tucson area have more experience with assumable loans than I do - reach out if you are interested in learning the pros and cons of assumable mortgages!

Low mortgage rates from the COVID era might still be attainable for homebuyers, if they find the right house and have the cash.
