This story is about patience, obedience, and trusting God, not just to order your steps, but to give you the faith to take the first one and the discipline to keep going until His promise is fulfilled.
After my clients were approved, during our second consultation, I had a very honest conversation with them as first-time homebuyers. I shared my commitment to keep them within budget, unless we found something that truly felt like a dream.
As we toured a few homes, I always asked one simple question: Will you feel regret paying this monthly, or will it feel worth every penny?
Because the truth is, the enemy will often send something good right before God delivers something great. And if you’re not careful, you’ll settle too soon. My role is also to help protect you from overspending—because the real goal is positioning you to build and grow wealth for your family.
After submitting two offers, the third truly was the charm. This home checked every single box, but we weren’t the only buyers interested. They turned to me and asked if I thought it was worth stretching just a little beyond their original budget. Then they said something that meant everything:
“We trust your guidance.”
Without hesitation, I asked:
“Is it worth less than $90 more a month to have your dream home—two acres of land, two workshops, a pool, a she-shed, two RV ports, and enough space for your parents to join you… a place where your grandsons and your family can gather and grow—and even has the potential to generate income?”
Absolutely. Marry the house, date the rate. 💫
The Word tells us that all we need is the faith of a mustard seed—it never tells us to shrink our requests. Too often, we place limits on what God can do because we want to be humble or because it feels impossible.
But what if we approached Him with bold faith instead?
My challenge for you today: come from a place of audacity when you ask.
Father, if what I am asking is aligned with Your will, I pray for Your favor. I trust that You will do exceedingly, abundantly above all I could ask or imagine. Your answer to Your promises is YES & AMEN—so I release the “how,” and I trust You completely. If it’s aligned with You, I am enough, and I will have everything I need to sustain the blessing. 🙏🏽✨
