Before the parade, we kick off with our annual Student Contest Series — one of the most meaningful traditions of our celebration. The contest are as follows:

✨ Oratorical Contest
Students recite Dr. King’s I Have a Dream speech with passion, discipline, and pride.

🎨 Art Contest
Young artists create pieces centered on love, hope, and peace in honor of Dr. King.
The 1st and 2nd place winners are featured on the front and back covers of our souvenir book each year.

📝 Essay Contest
Students reflect on how Dr. King’s legacy impacts their lives today. Winning essays are showcased inside our souvenir book.

These photos are from our annual banquet, where we honor all the winners and celebrate their hard work, talent, and dedication. It’s always a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.
