Reset Recovery

Reset Recovery We currently operate four homes across Tulsa. Our houses are clean, well-maintained, and designed to feel comfortable- not temporary.

One thing we talk about a lot is that recovery isn't just about quitting substances.

It's about building a life that you actually want to protect.

A job.
Healthy relationships.
Routine.
Purpose.
Community.

If all you remove is the addiction but you never build anything to replace it, staying sober becomes a whole lot harder.

I came across a conversation recently that does a great job explaining why connection and purpose matter so much in recovery. Worth a listen if you have a few minutes.

One thing I've learned is that recovery isn't usually about one big decision.
It's about a hundred small ones.

Getting up for work when you don't feel like it.
Making the meeting.
Answering the phone.
Keeping your room clean.
Paying your bills.
Being honest when you're struggling.

None of those things are flashy, but they add up.

That's why we put so much emphasis on routine and accountability. Not because we're trying to make life harder—but because those small habits become the foundation for bigger changes.

We currently have a few beds available, but our goal has never been to simply fill houses.

We're looking for men who are genuinely ready for the next step.

Many of the residents who come to Reset have already done some hard work. They may be coming from residential treatment, detox, incarceration, Drug Court, Mental Health Court, or another structured program and are looking for a stable place to continue building their recovery.

Sober living is often the bridge between treatment and independent living, and that bridge matters.

We provide more than housing. We offer accountability, peer support, case management, in-house therapy services, and connections to community resources because recovery takes more than a roof over your head.

If that sounds like you—or someone you know—we'd be happy to have a conversation and see if Reset Recovery is the right fit.

Not everyone is a fit for our program, and that's okay. Our priority is helping each resident find the environment where they have the best chance to succeed.

One thing I've learned over the years is that most people don't need someone to fix all of their problems.

Usually, they just need enough stability to start working on them.

A safe place to sleep.
A routine.
People around them who care.
Someone willing to have honest conversations.
A chance to catch their breath and focus on what's next.

Recovery doesn't happen overnight, and nobody gets everything figured out at once.

Sometimes progress starts with something as simple as having a stable place to come home to at the end of the day.

That's why what we do matters.

Not because housing solves everything—but because it's often where rebuilding can begin.

One thing we talk about a lot with guys here is that recovery usually takes more than one resource.

Housing matters—but so do meetings, therapy, jobs, transportation, community, medical care… all of it.

Nobody is supposed to figure all of this out alone.

Tulsa has some really solid resources, and we’re grateful to have people and organizations in town doing good work every day.

A few we often point people toward:

đź’™ Grand Mental Health
Crisis services, outpatient support, case management, mental health services

đź’™ Family & Children's Services
Counseling, addiction support, behavioral health

đź’™ Hope is Alive Ministries
Recovery housing & support community

đź’™ John 3:16 Mission
Emergency shelter + recovery services

There’s good help out there.

One thing people sometimes ask about Reset is what our houses are actually like day to day.

And honestly… we try really hard to strike the right balance.

There has to be accountability. There has to be structure. There has to be oversight.

Not because we’re trying to control grown men—but because accountability is part of showing people they matter.

If someone is struggling, isolating, missing responsibilities, or heading in a bad direction, we’re going to address it. That’s part of caring about people well.

But at the same time—we’re not trying to create an environment where grown men feel micromanaged over every little thing.

Our houses are still homes.

Guys are expected to work, communicate, take ownership of their recovery, and learn how to manage their lives in a healthy way.

At some point, real growth means learning how to make good decisions without someone constantly standing over your shoulder.

We provide structure, support, and accountability—but also enough space for guys to actually build independence.

That balance matters a lot.

We’ve had a few beds open up at Reset Recovery and wanted to put that out there in case someone needs it.

A lot of guys leave treatment, jail, detox, or unstable living situations and honestly just don’t have a solid next step. That gap is where a lot of people end up slipping backward.

That’s where we try to help.

We currently have homes across Tulsa and offer more than just a bed. Guys here have access to peer support, case management, help getting connected to therapy/resources, and people who actually care about what happens next.

If you know someone who may be a good fit—or if that person is you—feel free to message us or check out our application on our website.
