Wooly Croton is definitely one to keep an eye out for. Sometimes you can find it in abundance and typically that’s where you will find your doves and quail in the fall of the year.

The 2026 Whitetail Properties national sales meeting was a great time. We had the opportunity to meet and spend quality time with some great partners, get up to date on industry best practices and learn from some of the best land agents in the world. I’m truly grateful to be a part of the Whitetail Properties Real Estate family, it’s a great organization of people that are “Built Different” and that’s what sets us apart. We even got to hear from keynote speaker/entertainer/patriot - Ted Nugent
Already looking forward to next year!

This is what I call “Guinea Waust”
I think they are technically paper wasps but whatever you call them…these jokers don’t play around. Today, I had the better hand.

Blackberry season! I’ve been picking and eating Blackberries since I was a kid. It’s one of those simple southern pleasures that I will always enjoy. Gotta love it!

This Durana clover patch is looking good. We planted it last fall and it has really come along this spring. With a little maintenance, it should remain a great food source for deer and turkeys for several years to come.

SOLD: It was a pleasure to help transition this 233 acre tract in Tuscaloosa County to a new owner. I’m sure they will enjoy this great creek and beautiful rolling hardwoods.

Great timing on getting a dove field planted. Bring on the rain!
