Dinner is cooked at 1:00 today. 😂 And there’s actually a reason.

First of all, this is my first time making this chicken, pasta & broccoli casserole and YUM. 🤤 Recipe will be in the comments because this one is definitely getting made again!

Later today, we’re meeting clients at the home they’re purchasing in Jasper, and we are SO excited because today will be their first time seeing it in person. 🏡

There have also been repairs happening throughout the week, so we’re excited to see the progress—but even more excited for them. We want them to have all the time they need to walk through, look at everything, ask every question and enjoy this moment.

We don’t want to be watching the clock, and we definitely don’t want our clients to ever feel rushed.

So we plan ahead.

Penny already has dinner handled at her house—soup beans and cornbread. And over here, I’m cooking dinner at noon. 😂

My husband works long days in the coal mines, and coming home to a home-cooked meal makes him happy. If he beats me home tonight, I love knowing there’s a hot meal waiting on him after a long day—and I’m not sitting with our clients worrying about needing to rush home and figure out dinner.

And we’re making a little extra today because part of this casserole is headed to a REALTOR® friend of ours who has been in the hospital and under the weather. Hopefully some good comfort food can brighten her day a little, too.

Then, when it’s time to meet our clients, they have us.

We can spend as much time as they need. No watching the clock. No rushing them through an exciting moment. No stressing about what still needs to be done at home.

These are the little behind-the-scenes things people don't always see about this business. Sometimes giving your clients a great experience starts hours before you ever pull into the driveway.

We plan ahead so we can take care of our clients. We plan ahead so we can take care of our families. And when we have an opportunity to take care of someone else along the way, we try to do that too.
