I love the pelicans along the portion of the Umatilla and Columbia River around Cotilla Flats. I had seriously considered calling it Pelican Flats.

I have spent the last five days fixing and improving RV Space #4. The fixes stem from damage to the space by the most recent tenants. New gravel and site grading (water damage from their trailer having leaks) and removal of sawdust in the picnic area that they used as the their 3 dog’s bathroom. It’s wild how much damage they did in 60 days.

Added a privacy fence to separate from the road with a little fun flower area for passerby’s. Was hoping to have the covered sitting area and additional privacy screen in, but that will have to be a project for next week after the new tenant moves in on Monday!

This little baby is one of the best gifts from Cotilla Flats (CF). She was “liberated” by the ladies of CF after being found in a sealed crate in a garbage pile of an unfortunate non-tenant situation. Meet Ash: the tiny but mighty owner of the Bellinger-Browning household! Yes, we are cat people ❤️!

Space #5 has the prettiest lilacs! With two springs of care (trimming and watering) they have really sprung to life these past few weeks.

RV Space #1 received a makeover this weekend. Stained privacy screens, additional gravel and grass treatment. Before close-ups and after overall pics.

Even garbage needs a pretty spot! Also hoping this reduces Non-Cotilla Flats people from driving through and tossing tires, rugs, and other large items into the resident’s dumpster.

Play Area nearly complete thank you to Leslie and Teresa! The final touch was to be the tarp canopy that was not sent with the original kit, nor were the directions! One was downloadable and one is being “seen to by the manufacturer”.
