Today, I officially passed my final real estate exam. ✨

At almost 42 years old, this dream stretched me in ways I never expected. Between work, motherhood, late-night studying, baseball fields, laundry, responsibilities, and all the moving pieces of life… there were so many moments I questioned if I could actually do it.

Tests have never come easily for me, and there were times this journey felt overwhelming. But I kept showing up anyway. One page, one practice test, one long night at a time.

If there’s one thing I hope this reminds someone else of, it’s this: you are never too old, too busy, or too deep into life to chase something new.

A BIG thank you to Heather Spencer for believing in me before I fully believed in myself, for the opportunity, the encouragement, and for being such a dear friend through all of this. I’m so grateful to be part of such an incredible group of women through The Heather Spencer Group, a team that genuinely cares, works hard, and is passionate about serving our community well.

I’m also so excited to officially be part of the Keller Williams Collective family of Realtors and for everything ahead in this next chapter.

And to Chase, thank you for the grace, the patience, the support, and for always standing beside me while I chase every dream and crazy idea. I couldn’t do any of this without you.

A huge thank you to my parents, too. Their love, support, kindness, and willingness to help have never wavered. I haven’t always taken the typical path, and I know I haven’t always made things easy, but they have always believed in me anyway. That kind of love is something I will never take for granted.

And thank you to my friends and family who constantly encouraged me, checked in on me, cheered me on, and reminded me to keep going when it felt hard.

The best is yet to come 🤍

This chapter took a lot out of me, but I’m so proud I didn’t quit.

Today wasn’t the full outcome I hoped for… but it was still a win.

I passed the national portion of my real estate exam today. After months of studying between work, kids, baseball fields, laundry, entrepreneurship, late nights, early mornings, and all the responsibilities that come with adulthood.

And honestly? This is hard to do at 41 years old. Almost 42. As a mom. As someone working full time while still trying to grow, evolve, and chase new goals anyway.

Kentucky got me by a few questions this round, but I’m not done yet.

There’s something really humbling about doing hard things as an adult. Especially things that stretch you, challenge you, and remind you that growth rarely happens comfortably.

More than anything, I hope my kids see that you’re never too old to set new goals, work hard, start over, or keep showing up for yourself, even when it’s difficult.

One step closer today. Back to work tomorrow. 🌊

There’s just something about this time of year… and where we’re from.

I grew up in it.
Walking in with my dad and uncle, learning to bet, watching every race like it meant everything.

Sunburned and dressed up.
Lily in hand.
Watching from wherever we could… and loving every second.

It was never just about the race.
It’s the tradition, the memories… and the pride we carry for this place we call home.

Louisville shows up differently this week.

Youth sports aren’t just practices and games… it’s the gear, the upgrades, the “we need a new one already?” moments. Bats, gloves, cleats, bags… it adds up fast.

But watching them light up when they find the one… the bat that feels just right, the confidence it brings stepping into the box… that part makes it all worth it.

It’s more than equipment. It’s investing in what they love, the lessons they’re learning, and the memories we’re making along the way ⚾️

Real talk… I didn’t pass my first attempt.

And honestly? It’s been hard.
Balancing kids, work, and studying at 41 isn’t easy… but I know this is part of the process. Part of becoming better for the people I’ll serve.
