Wow… I got this reminder from photos about the first road bike I had and it was 9 years ago! Feels like I’ve been on a road bike longer than that to be honest! Lived every minute of my time behind bars and the many awesome people I’ve become friends with and the adventures I’ve ridden! Side note… I only got into road cycling due to breaking my collar bone while in a mountain bike race! I had my arm in a sling when I took this pic and planned to only use the road bike on the trainer to keep my fitness up. I was that mountain biker guy that thought road cyclist were crazy Lycra bandits riding on roads with cars! Then one day decided to take this bike around lake Hefner and was hooked on the speed!

2024 started with a slight uptick in interest rates. Speculation is that it will continue to trend downward during the year. Like and follow to keep track of the rates! I’ll be posting these every week or as soon as they change!

For those of you committing to a better, healthier, fitter version of you in 2024 just know I know the struggles you may face when it comes to food. This is what you’re up against at places like Walmart. They have designed the self check-out lanes to corral you into the isles where they have placed all the processed foods that can be hard to resist! Stay strong and remember why you want to change! Find strength in these challenges and that will find the fuel to get you thru the moment and moment by moment you’ll be tested and you will get stronger! I promise you! I have been in your shoes. I have to fight the cravings still to this day. Just know you’re not alone in this battle for your health! Myself and many others want you to win and you just may be the one that changes the course of your families health!
