Lately I've been teetering between perspectives about the things going on in the world and I'm starting to realize that our perspective creates our reality, and not actually the other way around.
This might sound a little wild but I don't write songs from front to back. I have to start at the end. Otherwise I am just rambling and no one knows where they are going, not even me.
And yet rambling and disappointment come when we follow a prescribed system, waiting on gatekeepers to give us permission to be who we are while assigning or diminishing our value based on their gains. Perhaps we're writing our song backwards and this is why it sometimes feels very hard for people to connect or follow along.
I've been a contract writer and negotiator in the real estate world for coming up on 20 years now and the outcome of an escrow is far more predictable than agents believe. The "see how it goes" mentality is a choice and it's not the only one. It's not the winning one.
So maybe we need to start reverse engineering or outcomes to make our efforts count. Then we can curate our lives, and stop manifesting someone else's dreams, ones we are not aligned with. Then be open to the connection that will bring.
We might wake up to a different world tomorrow with a simple change in perspective. Because the one thing I am sure of, is we are individually more powerful than we understand.
