The best wellness experiences are shaped by the people leading them.
That’s why our Spa Director, Siena Creasy, and her entire spa retail host team at Hi’ilani Spa have earned the WITT (Wellness in Travel and Tourism) Accredited Professional credential, the first global wellness accreditation created specifically for hospitality professionals.

The program is grounded in five pillars: healthy eating, holistic healing, nature, movement, and local impact. The team completed this 40-hour program to weave wellness into every moment of the guest experience, from the first greeting to the final goodbye, using a recognized global standard.

Earning this credential takes real dedication, and our team showed up for it. Thank you for what you bring to our members and guests every single day. We’re so proud of you!

With gratitude for the many hands that have helped our island move forward around the clock, we are welcoming guests back to the Lodge at Kukui’ula on September 23.

Our team has worked with extraordinary care in the days following Hurricane Lowell–clearing debris, tending to our surroundings, and preparing for returning Members and Guests.

Although progress is being made each day, recovery continues across the island. As you settle in, we invite you to experience Kaua’i thoughtfully. Make room for changed plans, offer patience generously, and support the people and locally owned businesses, welcoming visitors while also rebuilding their own routines.

We are grateful to welcome you back, and even more grateful for the care you bring with you.

If you are planning to travel to Kauaʻi soon, here are a few thoughtful steps you can take while recovery efforts continue across the island.

Confirm plans directly with your accommodations and activity providers, allow extra time when traveling, and avoid restricted or heavily impacted areas. Locally owned businesses across Kaua’i are gradually reopening, and every meal, purchase, and activity provides meaningful support to the people and families behind them. Please confirm current hours with extended patience and aloha to those welcoming guests back.

Continue following official updates from the County of Kaua’i as conditions and advisories may change.

In the days following Hurricane Lowell, the strength of Kaua’i has been found in its people. It’s in the crews working long hours, neighbors checking on one another, volunteers, and organizations providing essential assistance throughout communities on the island.

If you are on-island and would to kōkua, visit kauairecovers.org to find current volunteer opportunities and community resources.

Those wishing to help from afar may consider supporting Mālama Kauaʻi, the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation Kauaʻi Relief and Recovery Fund, Hawaiʻi Foodbank Kauaʻi, Kauaʻi Independent Food Bank, or Lāhui Foundation.

Mahalo to every person helping Kauaʻi recover.
