I love searching and finding a piece that has an unseen potential, taking it home, restoring it to beauty, and having others say, "you got THAT at a garage sale?" I get to do this because I have a supportive husband and partner who helps and encourages me. I hope you can get caught up in the joy of repurposing, restoring and basically rescuing pieces that would normally be tossed out!

Farewell Journey Group Meeting.
This one was rough, I’m not going to sugarcoat this. I cried all the way home knowing it was the last journey group meeting I would attend. These are the people who study God’s Word with us, who pray for and with us, the ones we call when we are struggling, text when have something to celebrate, or whenever we feel like sharing a dumb reel! 😂 These are our people, and I will miss our formal group meetings twice a month.
As for the people of this group, these relationship are FAR from being over. We still have plans together, we will still hang out, take trips together, and they are definitely having a Journey Group Expedition to Arkansas at some point.
We love our Journey Group so much!

Today was the hard part.

Mark starts his new job in Northwest Arkansas tomorrow, and I’m driving back to Texas to get the house ready to sell.

For a little while, we’ll be living in two states while we build the next chapter of our life together.

Scary? A little.
Worth it? Absolutely.
