Nolan had the opportunity to play bass this past Sunday at the RHCC Nolensville campus. When he started taking lessons a couple years ago, we were hopeful that leading worship would be where it was going to go. I don’t think we envisioned Nolan would have his first worship experience at 10 years old. He’s grown so much with bass and guitar and we can’t wait to see what’s next. He told me at the end of the second service he wanted to do it five more times… Haha, good job buddy! Thanks so much to RHCC Worship Pastor David Curtis for trusting Nolan to play on a Sunday morning!

Thanksgiving 2024! We had such a wonderful day with the family. We are very thankful for all that God is doing! We had such fantastic group of family members that could be with us this year and we capped off the day with 26 rounds of Christmas Family Feud! Congratulations to Team Stirling!

These superlative awards were given out in good fun at the Worship Arts Friendsgiving and I had a good laugh over this one but it also means so much to be part of this community. Just over a year ago, we were searching for a church home. To have found such a phenomenal group of people at Rolling Hills is just amazing and then be so blessed to get to serve in worship is such an honor - it is above and beyond what we could have asked or imagined. Thank you for loving our family so well!

It was a joy to see Liam get to serve for the first time on electric guitar today in the middle school worship service! He played great and our family was able to be there to worship with him. He served again last week on bass in student worship and we are very thankful that he is getting these opportunities to play at such an amazing church with a vibrant student ministry. Thank you to the wonderful leadership for pouring in and being an example for our students! Sorry for the iPhone audio…

Our dear friend went be with Jesus yesterday. This is really hard for us to process. We are holding to the everlasting hope of faith in Christ and seeing Chris again. If you knew Chris, you know how he embodied the love of Jesus. If you knew Chris, you know he could fill a room with his enthusiasm and his laughter and his smile and you probably weren’t leaving that room without getting a hug. If you knew Chris, you know how big he loved Jesus, his family, his friends, music, wrestling, the Cubs and Disney. I don’t ever remember being with Chris and not having a good time, it’s just who he was - 100% fun! He has left a lasting impact on Christian Music, Christian Hip-Hop and Christian Radio. He has been an example of a devoted Christ-follower. He will be missed. He is no longer in pain. He has perfect healing and perfect peace. I’m sure he’s already on-air with a heavenly Hype Radio Network and worshipping Jesus, now free from this physical battle and waiting for the rest of us to join him. In the view of heaven, we will see you soon buddy. We continue to pray for his beautiful family. Jesus we need you, please comfort us while we mourn and celebrate Chris.
