Episode One of flipping a house to help pay for our dream renovation. Here’s our plan 👇

we want to fully renovate our personal home, and also turn the attached unit into an airbnb for family to stay/help pay our bills.

we got quoted $30k for all the renovations and furniture… but as a real estate agent I know there’s a way to make a quick $30k in a pinch.

We bought an ugly house with a private money loan, and plan to fix this house up with none of our own money. Then sell it to fund our next project.

The only thing is, this is our second flip ever. And the first time we have bought a house sight unseen.

When it’s all said and done, we’re hoping to profit $30k+ so we can reinvest it back into our home and make what could be one of our best financial moves yet.

After trying this once before and it turning out well, I have confidence we can pull it off again. Follow to see how this house turns out!

I did something I thought I’d never do... something that has burned every beginner investors at one point or another. i bought my second ever flip… sight unseen.

A past client of mine wanted to get rid of this rental. they trashed the place (as you can see) and he told me he wanted to list for $105k.

Instead of just posting the listing and collecting my Realtor fee, I offered to buy it from him for his asking price, plus an additional $14,000. No fees involved. He happily said yes.

So now he’s sipping Mai Tai’s in Hawaii, and I’m $100k+ in debt with a goal of beating my last flip’s profit (~$33k) and ultimately give a new homebuyer a beautiful, fully renovated home.

I was actually feeling a little nervous/regretful after buying it so I didn’t post this. But with everything finalized, I might as well document it and see how it goes. Wish me luck and stick around to see how it turns out!

no way I’m getting emotional over a house 😭 rip big blue (not dead, but the new owners reached out today and I gave them a pic of the old house.)

they love the new color and are excited to finish getting moved in!
