How does getting paid to work on your tan sound? We are looking for help! Do you know anyone or maybe even yourself looking for outside work? We are looking for someone to help with our mowing services. Duties would include using commercial stand on mowers, string trimmers and backpack blowers. This person would also help with maintaining equipment for operational use such as changing blades and cleaning the underside of the mower deck. We are still doing our best to get out to complete our spring clean-up services. However with the current weather situation with all the rain we are unable to be out doing clean-up services. We need it to be dry to avoid causing significant damage to your lawn from it being to wet. Sounds after any rain or thunderstorms we have to have at least 24 hours of dry weather before we will attempt to do any clean-up services. Unfortunately we haven't had that recently and looking at the extended forcast we aren't going to have any dry weather anytime soon either. So please bare with us and we will get there as soon as the weather will allow us to. We really wish we could control mother nature with the rain and the temperature.

We have started on our spring clean-up services. This is just 0ne of several we have to take care of.we started yesterday Sunday the 22nd. We will be working on these for the next few weeks and then into our regular mowing services.

We had scheduled an estimate with a potential customer on the South side of Des Moines and on the way to the estimate we saw a couple of fire trucks & people lining the street. Little did we realize this was the route for a couple of fallen soldiers. After we completed the estimate we stopped to honor these fallen soldiers. Our CEO was in attendance as well along with our spoiled fur babies. God bless our military past present and future especially those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Well we are really hoping that we won't be using this piece of equipment anymore this season. We had it washed and put away for the season. However with the way the weather service is talking we hooked it back up just to be ready should we need it. We are really hoping not to need it. We really hope everyone is safe with what they are saying is coming.

Today we spent part of our day sharpening some of our mower blades to get ready for the season. We know that spring is knocking on the door. Before long we will be enjoying the smell of spring rain, flowers and fresh cut grass. Having sharp mower blades is just the start of having a healthy looking lawn. Using blades that aren't sharp will not cut the grass blades properly instead the blades will tear the grass blades and leave stragglers of uncut or torn sections. Sharp blades will actually cut the grass. We change out and sharpen our mower blades weekly. This gives our customers the best cut possible for thier lawn.

Well we can't say for certain if we will get another snow event out of this but rest assured we will be keeping an eye on it.

Clipper System to Bring Light Snow for February 25-26th –

A shortwave trough will eject from Alberta by Wednesday morning and quickly work southeastward into the Midwest Wednesday afternoon.

As with most clippers, this system will be fast-moving with the risk of a trace to around 2 inches of snow accumulation, locally 3 inch totals possible.

We will be watching for any minor north or south shifts over the next 24-36 hours.

Wow talk about a system shock. Almost 70s earlier in the week to now upper 20s and snow. That being said we have switched our equipment back to snow removal services again after doing some second round fall clean-up services last week and the first part of this week (2/19/26).

This was a clean-up service that we did on Monday February 9, 2026. Today we had a customer that we did a fence repair/replacement for. Unfortunately we didn't get pictures from the work today.
