While I acknowledge that the Association’s By-Laws currently provide for a minimum of three (3) directors, I strongly believe it’s well overdue for the governing board to seriously consider expanding the Board beyond the minimum threshold. Lake Rhodhiss Estates is clearly experiencing continued growth, as evidenced by the increasing number of homes in various stages of construction throughout the community.
As the community grows, so do the responsibilities, oversight requirements, fiduciary obligations and governance demands placed upon the Board. Expanding the Board would help ensure stronger representation, better continuity, broader community involvement, improved quorum stability, more effective oversight in guiding LRE along a responsible and sustainable path of growth for the future of the community.
A larger Board structure would provide a stronger governance framework and support system necessary to properly serve the evolving needs and long term interests of the community.
