In accordance with Chapter 153 of the Laws of 2022, effective April 20, 2022: “Each real estate broker shall institute standardized operating procedures for the prerequisites prospective homebuyers must meet prior to receiving any services." The following S.O.Ps are not required by our office, but are highly recommended prior to receiving any services as a homebuyer:
1. Show personal identification
2. Sign an exclusive broker agreement
3. Obtain a mortgage loan pre-approval
