We walked across the canopy bridge at Myakka State Park in Sarasota and let’s just say… it’s not for the faint-hearted 🌳😅

And also, I found out.... I am faint hearted. It was THRILLING but SCARY.

Resort-style pool days, palm trees, sunshine, community events… it’s giving permanent vacation energy. ☀️🍹

Old World Venice… eat your heart out 😂🌴

We’ve got RETRO classic over here and Myrtle the Turtle is officially rolling into town 🐢✨

She's not the fastest golf cart around… but she’s definitely the cutest. And as 80's kids we're game for cruising at golf cart speeds!

Hana has already claimed her front seat co-pilot position and takes her job very seriously 🐶😂



This is your reminder that sometimes the best part of Florida life is just slowing down a little and enjoying the ride.

Did you know Venice has one of the highest densities of Loggerhead sea turtle nests on Florida’s Gulf Coast? 🐢🌊

From May through October, our beaches become home to nesting sea turtles and it’s really gotta be one of the coolest things about living here.

Some of the best local spots for nesting activity:
🐢 Caspersen Beach
🐢 Venice Beach
🐢 Manasota Key Beach

These beautiful stretches of coastline aren’t just amazing for sunsets and shark teeth… they’re critical habitats for Loggerhead, Green, and even Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles 💙

That’s one reason we love these beaches so much - they’re SO alive.

Hana checked out the new Fetch Dog Park near Downtown Wellen Park this week and she was VERY impressed (even though she doesn't look it here - I swear she loved it!)

Lots of space to run around, shady spots for humans trying not to melt in the Florida heat, and plenty of new dog friends to meet 🐶

Wellen Park just keeps adding fun little spots like this that make everyday life here feel extra nice.
