Dodgeball? Kickball? Who says adults can’t have fun too! I don’t know about you, but acting like big kids is right up our alley! Check out what Josh and I did last night.

Our friends over at WePlay Social - Sports, Recreation & Events in the Wellen Park area launched their new “Adult Recess” event that will be taking place on Tuesday evenings where we can have some fun, make friends and get some good exercise too.

We had so much fun and enjoyed lots of laughs. Plus I must admit…my legs were sore this morning! Surely it was that “Medic Dodgeball” game with the rescue scooters!!! Those were hilarious 😂

They already have a fantastic adult kickball league in Wellen Park that’s super popular, and Adult Recess is a great addition. Check out their page for all the details - maybe we’ll see you out there next time!

Happy National Dog Day from the real boss at That Florida Life... 🐶❤️

While Josh and I might think we're choosing the best places to live, Hana has a pretty important job too.

She checks out the lake views.

She approves the dog parks.

She supervises homesite visits from the car.

And she's very particular about which homes pass the "nap in the sunshine" test. ☀️😄

If Hana could choose, we'd definitely have a big backyard, a shady lanai, and plenty of room for zoomies.

We finally made it to Owen's Fish Camp in Sarasota... and now we understand why everyone talks about it! 😍

Great friends, live music, Southern comfort food, and this incredible bourbon pecan pie to finish the night.

Safe to say we'll be back.

Ours is a quiet spot under a palm tree on our little beach in South Venice, listening to the waves and forgetting what day it is.
