Big things are taking shape just south of Austin. NewQuest, one of our member firms, is moving into the next construction phase of Kyle Park, a $280 million mixed-use development spanning 101 acres along I-35 in Kyle, Texas.
Retail site work ramps up this month on 272,704 square feet of space designed for top-branded junior anchors, with a lineup that already includes EoS Fitness, Boot Barn, Barnes & Noble, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Burlington, DICK'S Sporting Goods and more.
When finished, Kyle Park will bring 400,000 square feet of shops and restaurants together with 421 apartments, a hotel and a greenspace built around a pavilion and a replica of the city's landmark water tower.
As Andrew Alvis, SVP and development partner at NewQuest, put it: this is about giving Kyle residents a reason to stay, shop and gather close to home, while drawing new visitors into the city.
We're proud to see our member firms shaping projects like this one. Congratulations to the whole NewQuest team.
