This gorgeous log home had incredible bones — soaring ceilings, warm wood tones, and beautifully designed landscaped acreage. My job? Help buyers see themselves living here.

A few strategic swaps made all the difference:
🪵 Layered in cozy textiles to soften all that beautiful wood
🕯️ Added warm lighting to highlight the natural architecture
🌿 Brought the outdoors in to connect the home to that stunning land
🛋️ Right-sized the furniture so every room felt purposeful, not empty

Once the main pieces are in place, styling is where you can really have some fun and give a room its personality.

Proof that the right color changes everything. 🏡 This home's modern architecture deserved a shade that would highlight its clean, sharp lines—we landed on Sherwin Williams Iron Ore, and the transformation speaks for itself. From nice to absolutely stunning. A fun pop of orange on the front door completed this transformation!

A room can have all the right pieces and still feel like it’s missing something. Usually, it comes down to the finishing touches that help everything work together.

✨ Hang curtains high and all the way to the floor
✨ Ground the room with a properly sized rug
✨ Mix overhead, task and accent lighting
✨ Add texture through pillows, throws and natural materials
✨ Bring in greenery for color and a little life
✨ Make sure art is the right scale and height
✨ Edit surfaces so they feel styled, not cluttered

You don’t need to change everything. Focus on a few areas that feel unfinished and start there.
