Fourth turtle 🐢 we've seen laying eggs in the yard this summer. This girl was spooked yesterday, but came back today, started over and we caught her in action. There had to he about 6 eggs in the hole already. ❤️

Love my turtle planter and apparently Mr. Frog does too. 🐸 We see so many toads it was a nice surprise.

Woke up this morning to the hubby screaming, "there's a turtle by the bird feeders!" Not a shocker being so close to the pond until I got up and saw it was laying eggs. Cool surprise! Will be much easier for the babies to find the pond compared to when the turtles go around to the front of the house to lay eggs. 🥚🐢🥚

Wood ducks! Pictures taken from my kitchen window on my phone. Love what Spring brings to the pond. Mrs. Wood duck showed up a bit later with a low graceful entrance (unlike the geese that seem to crash land).

Um...why? There was nothing good to eat outside the fence, yet they just sat there with their heads out for the longest time. Eventually another chicken even joined them. 🤷‍♀️
